Using the service
How do I convert a video to MP3?
Copy the link to a video that you own or have the right to use, paste it into the box at the top of the page, and start the conversion. When your file is ready, download it.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use YT2MP3 Pro without creating an account, and there is nothing to install.
Can I convert a whole playlist?
No. You can convert one video at a time, and there is a limit on video length.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The site works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers.
Why did my conversion fail?
Some links cannot be converted. The video may be private, too long or blocked after a copyright notice, or the service may be temporarily unavailable. Please check the link and try again later.
Files and privacy
How long are my files kept?
Converted files are deleted automatically within 1 hour, so please download yours soon after it is ready.
What information do you keep?
We keep conversion records and technical logs for 2 hours. Our advertising and analytics partners handle their own data. Read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.
Copyright and rules
Can I convert any video?
No. Convert only content that you own, have permission to use or are otherwise legally allowed to copy. A video being available online does not mean that you have the right to copy it. Read our Terms of Use.
Can I convert private or paid videos?
No. Private, paid and members-only content is not allowed.
Are you part of YouTube or Google?
No. YT2MP3 Pro is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
How do I report copyright infringement?
Follow the steps in our Copyright Policy to send a notice. We can block the video or channel you identify from conversion.
