How to credit music and audio correctly

What to include

A useful credit normally includes the title, the creator's name, where you found the work and the license, with links where possible. Always follow any wording the license requires.

Where to put it

Place credits where people can find them, such as your video description, podcast show notes or the credits at the end of your project.

Credit is not permission

Giving credit does not by itself give you the right to use someone's work. You still need a license, permission or another legal basis.
