Keep your original recordings

Your original recording is the most valuable copy. Save it in a lossless format such as WAV or FLAC if you can, because you may want to edit it again later.

Keep a separate copy for listening

Export an MP3 for sharing and listening. Keep it alongside the original, so you never need to edit a lossy file again.

Store copies in more than one place

Keep one copy on your computer, one on an external drive and one in cloud storage. That way, one failed drive or deleted folder will not cost you your episodes.
